that the objective of the future rural development strategy for rural regions of Europe will become fully diversified, knowledge based economies that extend and complete our globally competitive urban economies to ensure the sustainability of Europe as a whole. Rural economies have to extend urban economies in terms of access to knowledge, infrastructure and services. They have to complete urban economies by providing public goods essential for sustainability - food and energy security, public amenity, bio-diversity and climate regulation. Information society technologies and the life-sciences will play a critical role enabling the ‘sustainable transformation of Europe’. Clearly much remains to be done and many challenges need to be overcome.

Exhibition will demonstrate tools supporting building of SDI on principles of social communities. It will demonstrate possibility of publishing user derived data on community portal, but also share information using metadata catalogues with other portal. It also offers connection with public portal and reuse of information on public portal. Solution offer easy integration of such information sources like OpenStreetMap. Demonstrated solution also includes aspects of social network. A social network consists of a finite set or sets of actors and the relation or relations defined on them. The presence of relational information is a critical and defining feature of a social network.” The focus of the Geoportal4everybody project is on social network sites (e.g Facebook, Twitter) as one of the main dissemination and communication tool. The Geoportal4everybody will be an entry point for any news (new developments, problematic topics, progress in the project, etc.). News will be posted by the project partners and will be automatically distributed to a number of selected communities – social network sites. Technologies of Geoportal4everybody are used now in many European projects like EnviroGrids BlackSee, Plan4all, Habitats, Metaschool, but also for example are now base for Czech National INSPIRE portal or for regional portals in Latvia and on Canaries Islands. The EU-funded projects FutureFarm, agriXchange and CAPIGI-network which joined together in GeoFARMatics 2010 in Cologne, Germany, from 24th-26th November 2010, recognised that agri-food and rural ICT must be an essential part of the European Digital Agenda for 2020. The process of building the Rural Knowledge Society started by the Valencia declaration helps to reduce the digital divide between rural and urban communities in Europe. However, new changes in the global food supply, growing demands on food quality and quantity, energy demands and environmental aspects introduce new demands on future knowledge management. The objective of future knowledge management should be to enable the agri-food and rural communities to react adequately to these changes. For this reason, knowledge management has to become part of the agri-food and rural production system. This requires a clear vision, which has to be based on discussions with farmers, experts, politicians and other stakeholders.

Data can be search by text or by defined elements defined in standards (OGC CSW 2.0.2, AP ISO, INSPIRE). Basic elements are dataset and services. Basic elements can be extended by user demands but they will not be searchable on other catalogues. First version of catalogue used cascading of multiple services. This version support adding services independently on each other.

This application interact with map viewer so it can be added map services into map by one click. Another interaction is with metadata extractor. Documents or web pages stored by extractor can be opened also by one click.
